Programs and Classes


Morning Jump Start:
Aerobic conditioning, core strengthening, muscle toning, and flexibility exercises will create a full body, multilevel workout to kick off your day! A variety of resistance equipment will be utilized to impact the intensity of the workout. Active adults of all ages with minimal or no restrictions will find this class a perfect way to begin the day.
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:00 am - 9:00 am: Current class is running from 02/14/12 - 03/15/12 - $90/5 weeks

Arthrisit/Fibromyalgia I:
Provides an opportunity for people of all ages with arthritis or fibromyalgia to participate in a relaxed fitness class.  The class is designed to maintain and increase joint flexibility and muscular strength, improve balance and coordination, and assist with pain management.  There are no bouncing movements - No script needed.
Tuesdays & Fridays, 11 am - 12 pm: Current class is running from 02/10/12 - 03/13/12 - $90/5 weeks

Arthritis/Fibromyalgia II:
Takes the Arthritis/Fibromyalgia I class one step further.  It uses gentle equipment to increase resistance as well as dynamic movement for a low-impact workout.  It does not incorporate "bouncing type" movements.  Participants should be acclimated to water exercises and tolerate a faster pace than the Arthritis/Fibromyalgia I class - No script needed.
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 12 pm - 1 pm: Current class is running from 01/31/12 - 03/01/12 - $90/5 weeks

Senior Splash:
Targets older adults who have no restrictions beyond those of the normal aging process focus is on joint mobility, flexibility, and strength using low impact aerobics, water walking/jogging, and resistance equipment - No script needed.
Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 12 pm - 1 pm: Current class is running from 02/15/12 - 03/19/12 - $135/5 weeks

Ai Chi I:
Offers a simple water exercise and relaxation program.  The class uses a combination of deep breathing and slow, broad movements of the arms, legs, and torso in flowing continual patterns, accentuation overall body awareness and strength - No script needed.
Fridays, 1 pm - 2 pm: Current class is running from 02/24/12 - 04/27/12 - $90/10 weeks

Hour of Power:
Provides an advanced aerobic workout intended to challenge adults of all ages, who are serious about fitness.  Focus is on increasing heart rate and utilizing interval tra/ining principles to increase muscle strength, balance, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness - No script needed.
Tuesday & Thursday, 5 pm - 6 pm: Next class is running from 02/09/12 - 03/13/12 - $90/5 weeks

Aqua Mix:
This class is targeted for healthy adults of all ages with no restrictions or precautions.  It is a one hour high level class incorporating cardio, Zumba, strengthening, toning and flexibility.  While every movement can be modified to individual tolerance, the pace is fast and the workout is great.
Monday & Wednesday, 5 pm - 6 pm: Current class is running from 02/15/12 - 03/19/12 - $90/5 weeks

Swim Your Way To Health:
Provides an alternative approach to exercise for men and women with a history of cardiovascular disease.  We will provide a conservative and fun program in an environment condusive to better health.  The benefits of aquatic exercise, under the guidance of a certified aquatic instructor, can contribute to improving overall health and wellness. 
Wednesdays, 4 pm - 5 pm: Current class is running from 02/08/12 - 03/28/12

Water Readiness:
This parent/tot class helps infants and toddlers development a comfort level in and around water as well as rediness for learning to swim.  Parents are in the water with their child at all times and are responsible for their safety.  It is catered toward children 6 months to 2 1/2 years.  This is not a swim lesson.
Class meets for 30 minutes, 1 time a week, schedule will vary - $50.00/5 weeks

Swim Lessons:
Catered toward children 2 - 6 years, our swim lessons offer an opportunity for learning basic water safety as well as stroke development in a comfortable, 92 degree pool.  Our pool is not a lap pool but provides an environment with little distraction for a small group or private option.  Parents are not in pool with child.

*Children will be placed in Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced lessons based on skill level*

Class meets for 30 minutes, 1 time a week, schedule will vary:
Private - $150.00/5 weeks
Semi-Private (2 - 3 children) - $100.00/5 weeks per child
Group (4-5 children) - $50.00/5 weeks per child
Next sessions running from 02/13/12 - 03/17/12
