Volunteering

There are a variety of ways in which individuals, families, businesses, and friends of Grand Traverse Pavilions can provide residents and guests with much-needed assistance.

Several hundred individuals from the community are currently serving as volunteers, generously giving of their time and talents in support of the programs and services of The Pavilions.

These men and women are spending individual time reading or writing letters for the residents; providing entertainment; facilitating interdenominational and memorial services; sewing for residents; caring for landscape and courtyard gardening; assisting residents, children and guests with transportation to and from medical appointments or field trips.

Grand Traverse Pavilions also offers area youth the opportunity to participate in Teen Pavilions, a year round volunteer program for students age 14 and older who have an interest in a unique health care and residential continuum of care community.
