Employment Opportunities
RN/LPN:
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and posses a valid and current RN/LPN license required by the State of Michigan. Prior experience in geriatric nursing preferred.
CNA:
Performs basic resident care activities and related non-professional services in caring for the personal needs and comfort of residents. Must be 17 years of age and at least 18 years of age to work the 11-7 shift. Must complete a recognized Nurse Aide Training program and obtain certification.
Universal Worker:
Must possess interpersonal and adaptive skills to work within a variety of departments. GED equivalent or High School Graduate required.
Maintenance:
Performs routine preventative and emergency maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Custodian:
Performs routine duties including, but not limited to, cleaning, trash removal, linen transportation, and floor care. One (1) year previous housekeeping or custodial experience required.
Housekeeping:
Maintain optimum levels of cleanliness and sanitation including laundry services.
Laundry:
Performs organization and resident laundry.
Cook I:
Supervises and coordinates activities of all employees involved in food production and service. Uses skilled food preparation and sanitation techniques to prepare and serve hot and cold food items as determined by menus and production schedules, judging quality and quantity of products. Orders, receives and stores food and supplies. Performs inventory and record controls. Also responsible for non-complex therapeutic diet modifications and diet instructions.
Cook II:
Uses skilled food preparation and sanitation techniques to prepare and serve hot and cold food items as determined by menus and production schedules, judging quality and quantity of products. Responsibilities also include ordering, receiving and storage of food and supplies, inventory and, record control.
Dietary Assistant:
Assist supervisory and skilled food service personnel in the preparation and service of food for residents, guests and employees, as well as performing tasks related to the sanitation of work areas, equipment utensils and dishware involved in these services.
Child Care Assistant:
Assists the Child Care Center staff to ensure a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for enrolled children. The Child Care Assistant must meet Lead Caregiver criteria, as defined by Department of Human Services regulations.
